Welcome to District Swabi The land of brave and hospitable people. It is Surrounded by mountains and is situated on the bank of river Indus which is also called AbaSeen ( The father of all rivers ). Therefor it has got a beautiful sight. The soil of Swabi is very fertile therefor there is greenery every where and nearly all kind of crops are cultivated here. The people of Swabi belong to the respectable race of Yousafzai. They are ever smiling, hard working, brave and hospitable. District Swabi is one of the most developed Districts of Pakistan and is the fourth most populated district of N.W.F.P. It has got all the facilities like water supply, electricity, telephone, sui gas, schools, colleges, hospitals and a good network of roads. Most of the People of Swabi are farmers, some have their own business and some are government employee. The people of Swabi are very religious and love their religion Islam. They are peace loving and keep Islam before every thing. The people of Swabi are highly civilised and straight forward. In short Swabi is one of the most civilised, developed and amazing districts of Pakistan and is worth seeing.
